Coco
is unquestionably the most hospitable host we've had in several years
and countries. We so appreciated being picked up at the train, helped
with our luggage, and taken to the apartment, which was already stocked
with a fresh baguette, butter, jams, ham, mustard, local sweets, and
even a little chocolate cake baked by Coco herself. The apartment meets
every need. It's attractive, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The
location is outstanding with the Ducal Palace on one side of the
apartment building and the Musee Magnin on the other. I want to go back
right now--if only to sit at one of the cafes around the beautiful
Place de la Liberation, just steps from the apartment.

Coco's
apartment in Dijon was wonderful- from the very comfortable queen bed
to the well equipped kitchen and the great location, you could not ask
for more . She even has a landline phone you can use to call home
(free) along with a computer. Also a washer/dryer which was great. The
location is perfect for exploring Dijon and is only a quick two minute
walk to the Place de la Liberation. and all the cafes close-by. Coco is
the ultimate hostess. She made us feel as friends instead of passing
thru renters. Her husband picked us up at the train station and brought
to the apt. When we left, Coco drove us back to the station even going
in with us to make sure we got the correct train. Following "The Owl
Trail" is a great way to see Dijon. Les Halles is a must visit for
delicious sandwiches, bread, fruits, vegetables and prepared foods. We
hope to return to Dijon and will definitely stay with Coco.

We
thoroughly enjoyed our week in Dijon and wish we had more time.
From the wine tour with Max (Wine and Waters), to admiring the
beautiful architecture, to the fabulous food (and wine), the Musée des
Beaux Arts, Musée Magnin, day trips to Beaune and Nuits st Georges - we
can hardly take it in! Les Halles was great -cooking seemed too much
for vacation- so we bought a roast chicken and potatoes dauphinoises.
Delicious!
We have stayed in several houses and apartments in France, Europe and
the U.S. and must say that Coco's hospitality far exceeds any others.
We had everything we
needed - pick up at the gare, the guided tour, food (cake!) wine,
everything-! A perfect
location - quiet, romantic, comfortable, serene - Merci bien Coco!

Before the madness of our normal
lives begin. Want to say thank you for allowing us to stay at your
place and your warm welcome, we felt like we'd known you for years and
felt at home in your apartment . After 14 days of walking and
sightseeing we were looking forward to winding down and relaxing and
your place provided just that ( a little too well, I might add, cause
we ended up huddled in the apartment and eating macdonalds - just like
We'd do at our own home :-( ) So we didn't get to explore Dijon at
night at all or any of the restaurants !!
BUT this gives us perfect reason to come back on another trip and stay
for longer than the 2 nights , because we didn't even begin to scrape
at the surface of what Dijon has to offer!! ( wine tour and the cooking
class with chef Alex etc) So we will definitely be seeing you again!!
P.s people in Dijon are super helpful , when we went to the train
station we must have looked lost and this one old lady who couldn't
speak English took it upon herself to find our solution being our
translator at every desk till we found the right place - it was so
sweet cause from the past 2 weeks once people discover you don't speak
the language no one helps And the guy at the ticket office as well was
super friendly, we walked back thinking wow we hadn't seen this kind of
hospitality in a while !

Coco,
thank you so much for the introduction of Dijon, pointing out the
sights! We loved the comfort and location of the apartment - and the
chocolate cake - delicious!! This is the perfect place to return and
enjoy Dijon - such a lovely, peaceful city! We wish we were here longer
- next time we will plan to stay longer in Dijon and take day trips
from here to all the beautiful surrounding villages.
Merci beaucoup!

Coco,
thank you for everything! You are amazing and so is your apartment. We
have fallen in love with Dijon! What a lovely, superbly designed and
appointed, and perfectly located home-away-from-home, just steps away
from the Palais des Ducs, wonderful restaurants, unforgettable museums.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we so appreciate your attention to
every detail, making our stay elegant, comfortable, convenient,
interesting and fun! We are already planning our next visit to your
beautiful city and to "My Home in Dijon" and we wish you and your
family a 2016 that is a Bonne Année.
