We
have had a wonderful week! Thank you so much! Your apt was
great! We loved the goodies you left for us: French donuts, yummy
mustards, and all the fruit!
What we loved most was the walk ability and the square with the
fountains and the intergenerational life: children playing freely in
the water, bikes, skateboarders, elderly, such a joie de vivre and a
sense of safety.
We always take very athletic vacations hiking 10 miles a day or
something equally as demanding. This time we ate, drank, slept,
and enjoyed. Your apt is the
perfect location.
A week allowed us to relax; and Dijon was perfect. We had time
for art, history, food, people watching, and down to Beaune and Nuits
St. George. I would sum up Dijon as having all Paris has without
the crowds, crime, or attitude. Delightful, delicious, and
welcoming.

My
how our two weeks have flown by! Coco, your welcome was so
appreciated... from picking us up at the station, having the walk
around Dijon, the "supplies" left for us and your wonderful, warm
charm. We felt right at home immediately. Our time here was highlighted
by a cooking class with Alex Miles and a Burgundy wine tour with
Colette. But really it was the flat - so well located - and the warmth
of our host.

I found this apartment on Fodor
and the reviews were so good I wondered if it was too good to be true.
But, fortunately, the apartment and most of all my wonderful hostess
Coco lived up to my expectations and more..
I have rented 9 properties across the world and Coco is the best
hostess I've ever experienced, meeting me at the station, showing me
the apartment and then a walk through the Saturday markets together,
before leaving me to enjoy my stay. The beautifully decorated apartment
is in a perfect location to explore Dijon and is well stocked with
everything needed for breakfast and snacks. Full kitchen, washing
machine, English channels TV, computer with high speed WiFi/internet
and plenty of information on the area at hand. Coco returned to deliver
me safely to the station when I departed. The apartment name 'My Home
in Dijon' is perfect as I felt very 'at home' for my entire stay. Thank
you Coco for a providing the great photos to remember my stay. You're
the best!!

Dijon
has been a wonderful sejour for us - visiting our friends was our
primary goal - but we enjoyed
much on our own as well. Cycling to Lac Kir - and around - as well as
through the vineyards - along the less travelled path - adjacent to the
Route des Grands
Crus - Dinner at DZ with our friends was a treat - along with the
perfect weather! Thank you for your kind and generous welcome - the
cake! and many items to keep us going for a few mornings!

Merci beaucoup Coco pour tout!
Ellen and I had a wonderful time in your
apartment and your service/support was greatly appreciated. We leave
you with some lyrics from our hometown heroes, le groupe de rock
s'appelle RUSH.
"When we are young, wandering the face of the earth, wondering what our
dreams might be worth, learning that we are only immortal for a limited
time." (Dreamline)

A Wonderful Combo of Apartment plus Service
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
It is hard to imagine a warmer welcome and more comprehensive service
than what one experiences thanks to Coco. Her apartment has a fantastic
location and offers travelers a sympa place to stay while visiting
Dijon. We enjoyed using the cute little kitchen and also the bathtub.
The latter was great for soaking tired bones after much walking. The
free landline phone was a huge bonus, especially for those of us who
never bring a cell phone along. One indication of Coco's attention to
detail is her pre-arrival questionnaire, which asks among other things,
about one's food and wine preferences. Not many hosts go to that much
trouble. The apartment was quiet, clean and warm. We would definitely
recommend My Home in Dijon to our family and friends. It was wrenching
to leave.

Last year my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Christmas week in Dijon.
This year, the closest we could get, however, was to be here for the
last week of November, with a return later in December. Yes, we enjoy
Dijon THAT much. It's beautiful, it's steeped in history, it's relaxing
and delicious, and we've been warmly welcomed by Coco and by
shopkeepers and people on the street.
Once again, this year, we will be staying at Coco's perfectly situated,
attractively appointed, thoroughly modernized, comfy, and well-equipped
apartment. The apartment is located just steps from the Palais des
Ducs, which is the site of this year’s Christmas market. It's so nice
to run out for coffee and a croissant in the morning, then swing back
by the apartment before an afternoon adventure, or to relax there
before heading off for dinner and an evening stroll... (full review here)
