My
husband and I have been renting apartments in different countries for
the last five years. We can honestly say that Coco was the most caring
proprietor and provided the best service we have ever had. From early
email communications to dropping us off at the train station at the end
of our stay, we felt well taken care of. We arrived too early in the
day for check in, but Coco still met us at the train station, drove us
to the apartment to drop our bags, then showed us to a restaurant where
she'd made a reservation for us for lunch. After lunch, she met us
again and walked with us around the center so that we could get our
bearings and a brief introduction to Dijon. During our stay, she gave
us further help on restaurants and even a cooking class, as well as
sights to see. The apartment, in a great location in the center of
Dijon, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The
refrigerator was stocked with breakfast food and the kitchen was well
equipped. The TV and DVD player provided plenty of entertainment and
the wifi connection was excellent. All in all, we had a great time in
Dijon and in large part it was because of Coco, who even took us back
to the train station upon departure. I would highly recommend a stay in
this apartment in Dijon.

Dear
Coco, We enjoyed perfect five days in Dijon in your perfectly situated
home! It was so nice to wake to our own coffee each day, and enjoy your
well-stocked kitchen... Thanks so much for your help with our
reservations, and the wine... All memorable experiences! We even
stumbled onto an organ concert at St Benigne. Route des Grands Crus is
a wonderful drive, with friendly cellars and tastings! - Beaune is a
treat – Tour of Hospices de Beaune worth the tour (as a physician,
historic! ) Tuesday’s Les Halles market special for items to cook –
Stephane Derbords very special, “fair” priced… great service. Vezelay a
great day trip – small roads wonderfully picturesque – (return on A6
speedy! ). Great lunch in Vezelay – (card in your book). All in all, a
wonderful time in Dijon !! We recommend this trip!!

In May 2013 we stayed for 5 nights in the beautiful walled
city of Dijon in the wonderful apartment of Coco Jacquin
We were absolutely delighted by the warm, well appointed apartment in
the heart of the old city, and would recommend this open plan and very
stylish apartment to everyone. There is a great kitchen, very comfy
large bed and it is so quiet and peaceful, with museums and art
gallery's just minutes from the door, also great markets and cafes' and
restaurants in abundance, Just fabulous ! Thank you for making our stay
so special, Coco even gives you an orientation of the "Old City"on
arrival . Just magic ! (as read on tripadvisor)

Dear Coco, we have had a wonderful week in "My Home in
Dijon".
You have equipped the apartment beautifully. We wanted for
nothing. Thank you for the quick trip around the area which gave
us a feeling for the locality, for your help with the wine and the
restaurant reservation. Dijon is a splendid and graceful city. We
enjoyed it all - the beer and peanuts in the bar next door, the
restaurant meals, the quiet dinner at home cooking food from the
market, strolling the streets and following the Owl's trail. We leave
with regret and beautiful memories.

of my favourite cities! :) Many many thanks for your wonderful insights

Just
got back from Coco's My Home in Dijon! Wonderful! A/C! She is ebullient
and awesome, the place is right on the Duke's Palace and perfect. We
shopped at the Saturday market and ate in that night. I followed the
many good reviews here and they were all on the money. Coco's is an
entire apartment. (read on Fodor's travel forum)

This
apartment is a treasure, being ideally situated in the heart of Dijon
with very good security. It is spacious for two people, with a
fully equipped kitchen, washing and ironing facilities and heating and
cooling installed. For English speaking guests there is the bonus that
the owner speaks excellent English. She meets guest on arrival at Dijon
station and takes them to the station on departure.
If we ever return to Dijon we will plan our time there on the basis of
the availability of this apartment.

My husband and I stayed at My Home in
Dijon for a couple of days in August. This is a unique place with all
the advantages of a bed and breakfast and a hotel but also with the
privacy and personal space of your own private home. It is very
centrally located and a short walk from everything but it's also very
peaceful. Even though air-conditioning was available, we loved leaving
the windows open and letting the breeze wash over us. The tall ceilings
make the place feel spacious while the layout and the decor make it
warm and inviting. There were windows everywhere and we could let in as
much sunlight as we desired but yet there was shade for privacy and
also room darkening shades if we chose to sleep in. But more than the
place itself, it was Coco that made our stay exceptional. She thought
of everything and I mean everything we could possibly need and included
them in the apartment. From computer, free internet connection, T.V.
with a million channels, phone with free calls to anywhere in the
world, maps, guides, books, fully equipped kitchen, well stocked
refrigerator, iron&ironing board, hair dryer, and hair straightener
to nail polish remover&cotton balls, candles, and all sorts of bath
products, Coco provided everything without cluttering the apartment.
She was a great resource herself in booking restaurant reservations,
finding parking, touring Dijon, and much much more...And I have to say
having gotten to know her for a short time, she is a delight and for me
anyway, it's the people of a place who make or break a great time and
she made ours. Needless to say that I recommend this place to anyone
who visits Dijon and would stay here in a heartbeat if we ever go back.

Coco, Dijon is such a wonderful place, we had no idea that there
was so much to see and do. We regret that we did not stay for a longer
period of time, and so may return, who knows what the future holds.
Your apartment is superbly furnished and fitted out in every possible
way - all our needs were catered for and staying here has been as
comfortable as can be desired. Thank you. Best wishes.

Dear
Coco, Thank you for making us so welcome in Dijon. We appreciated being
picked up from the station - and returned at the end of our wonderful
stay. Thank you also for giving us a tour around the town and setting
us up to do our own "owl tour". The cooking class which you organized
for us was lots of fun. It was so lovely coming to stay in your
apartment, with your personal touches - such as the delicious treats in
the kitchen - and the pretty décor. We had a very busy six days and did
lots of walking. Your city is beautiful, we will always have great
memories of our stay here. Best wishes.

We wish we were staying longer! Three days
was not enough -LOVED our stay in "our"apartment -in-Dijon! The
welcome, and hospitality from Coco was a wonderful start... and as
everyone has mentioned the apartment is set up with all possible needs
in mind. After 3 weeks of travelling around France, and on the go
morning-to-night, we decided to enjoy leisurely coffees in the morning
- and wander (not rush!) ... We look forward to returning to Dijon some
day, and exploring more of the city and surrounding area- and
definitely would return to "My-Home-in-Dijon" ! Merci beaucoup Coco.

Dear
Coco, We arrived at the railway station feeling lost, and all of a
sudden, Coco was beside us as if by magic, and the whole 3 days and
nights have been magic. Coco, you have a lovely appartment, a beautiful
city, a terrific region. What a surprise Dijon has been for us. A total
delight and we are already discussing the possibility of returning. We
will certainly try and stay longer. We feel very privileged and lucky
to discover your appartment. Thank you so much. We have been travelling
7 weeks so far and this is by far the best accomodation, and home, we
have experienced. Thanks Coco !! All the best,

Coco,
Kelly and I truly appreciate you and your apartment. You answered each
email and question patiently. All your information was "spot on". Given
our hectic last two months, the apartment and Dijon was just what we
needed. The Saturday market was wonderful. Our wine tour was
outstanding. The restaurants you recommended were great. The apartment
was comfortable and convenient. It was easy to feel we actually lived
in Dijon for a week. Thank you for everything.

We
spent 5 wonderful nights in Coco's beautiful and comfortable apartment
ideally located in the heart of Dijon across from the Musee de
Beaux-Arts. Coco is the perfect host: she welcomed us at the train
station, took us to her apartment and on a tour of Dijon near her
apartment. We appreciated the fact that Coco was available for our
questions throughout our stay. We enjoyed walking around Dijon,
visiting historical buildings and churches, walking the owl trail,
shopping at Les Halles and at the food and clothes shops nearby. We
visited the Musee de Beaux-Arts several times and could easily have
spent more time there. With many restaurants in town, we enjoyed eating
at one of the restaurants near the apartment. We found the location of
Coco's apartment to be perfect, as advertised, as we were able to walk
around town so easily. We also found the apartment to be clean and
well-equipped. Another highlight was our day trip to Beaune and tour of
the wineries and winetasting. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would
gladly return to Dijon and stay in Coco's apartment. We can easily
recommend this apartment to friends and relatives.

"My
Home in Dijon" was the perfect home base for our visit. The location
was right in the middle of the historic downtown (right across from the
entrance to the Fine Arts Museum--a must see, especially since it is
free to the public!) The market was just blocks away as were a myriad
of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Our host, Coco, was friendly, welcoming and super accommodating. She
met us at the train station to make sure we wouldn't have to walk with
our luggage and gave us a ride back on our departure. She was available
via email and phone throughout our stay and was a wealth of information
on area attractions and activities.
The apartment was cozy and perfectly provisioned with everything:
linens and toiletries, washer/dryer and computer, and even all the
breakfast fixings you might need. Coco even provided us with a high
chair, baby bowls and spoons, books and baby towels. An overall
excellent experience!

Thank
you so much! "My
Home in Dijon" has been the perfect place for our visit to this
charming city -so comfortable, with everything we need, and so
conveniently located. You have thought of everything ! We
particularly enjoyed the recently re-opened wing of the musée des Beaux

with Authenticatour, Stephen was a wonderful guide for the afternoon
"charme" tour, lunch at Theatre des Sens. We only wish we had planned
to stay longer!

Coco,
From the very beginning you made us feel welcomed like family visiting.
Thank you for the extra special attention and support with our delayed
luggage. We enjoyed Dijon very much and hope to return to see more. The
charm of this apartment made a huge impression. We loved the high
ceilings, wood floors and fireplace. Thank you for the toiletries, well
equipped kitchen and helping us to locate the film for the camera. You
really are the definition
of hospitality.
